Hello All,
'Inkheart' by Cornelia Funke publisher Scholastic Inc. I have posted before about books that have been made into movies and this is another one coming out that is worth mentioning. ![]() This is the description of the book on the back... "One cruel night, Meggie's father reads aloud from Inkheart, and an evil ruler named Capricorn escapes the boundaries of the book, land in their living room. Suddenly, Meggie's in the middle of the kind of adventures she thought only took place in fairy tales. Somehow she must master the magic that has conjured up this nightmare. Can she change the course of the story that has changed her life forever." My 9 year old is about half way through the book and loving it! The release date for this movie, by New Line Cinema, isn't until January 2009 and is rated PG. It is a big book with over 500 pages and, with that release date, it will give you lots of time to read it. The movie is starring Brendan Fraser from 'The Mummy' movies, ‘Loony Tunes: Back in Action', and 'George of the Jungle'.
